Channel 31 are looking for young people aged 16-25 from diverse faiths and cultures with a passion for flimmaking and storytelling. Ideally candidates will already have some experience in filmmaking and/or a desire to learn quickly! The Working Title Youth & Media Mentoring project includes 12 weekly sessions on the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking, the chance to meet professionals from within the industry and the opportunity to take a hands-on role in making a short documentary to be aired on C31. Ideal candidates will have a willingness to work as part of a team, be able to commit to four hours every week (possibly more), a love of deadlines - and a sense of humour! Successful candidates will be contacted for an interview. The project is funded by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship (OMAC).
