Friday, July 13, 2012. You are all invited to join us for the Independence Day celebrations for Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela! This fantastic yearly event will feature the following performances; Afro Contemporary, Cuban guest performance, Victor Valdez, Colombian Cultural & Folkloric Organisation, Chirimeros Folkloric group, Te amo peru and Tango forge. There will also be a raffle, latin food and drinks, handcraft expo and a photography expo. We have 10 spaces for ESI members to be able to attend the Independence Day Celebrations for free on Friday 13.07.12 and be part of the support team of the event!

The support team would involve doing any of the following duties; assisting with lights, opening and closing the stage curtains, assisting with photography, helping the musicians and performers, selling tickets, supervising the art & craft stalls and ushering people to the food stalls.

The support team is required to attend a training session + complimentary dinner the day before the event on Thursday 12/07/12 at 6pm at Tom Mann Theatre at Surry Hills. On the day of the event on Friday 13/07/12 which starts at 7pm the support team is required to arrive at 6:45pm at Tom Mann Theatre. This will be a great opportunity to practise your Spanish/English skills, make new friends and be part of the behind the scenes of a great cultural event in Sydney!
