Installing Our Internet

Hi there! Me again. I’m one of the four girls moving out of home next month and I’m very excited. Well, actually we’re all very excited. It’s been such a long time coming and we’re so excited for the freedom that comes with living out of home. It’s going to be so nice to just hang out with my friends all day and know that they’re there when I need them. With my friend going through a personal tragedy just last week, I’d like to have her around so that I can keep a close eye on her and know that I’m here if she needs anything.

I feel like this is such a common thing with every blog I write about moving out. But being an adult is hard. There’s so much I had never thought of that needs doing. Stuff that I really took for granted, like the internet. I have no idea how to fix slow internet or even how to get internet installed for that matter, and my mum has been telling me that this is something that I really need to get sorted. She’s right as well, seeing as I work from home the majority of the time. I need the internet to be able to do my job, otherwise, I may have to go into the office… the horror.

I hope the girls I’m moving in with know how to sort all this stuff out. Will they be able to sort out our new NBN connection? In the Melbourne area, having NBN is a critical part of day to day life. Hopefully, they know what to do and which technicians to call. Otherwise, we’ll have to figure it out together which will be fine, but that might take us a bit longer than what is convenient. It’s okay though. I guess being an adult was never going to be easy. We’ll figure it out!
