Professional Vehicle Inspections

So I just got home from the mechanic. I drove both ways, in other words to and from the workshop. That in itself is a massive achievement and I’m really proud of myself. It’s the little things that you have to appreciate and really acknowledge that you’ve achieved, in order to help yourself move forward.

Just as exciting, everything went well at the mechanic local to Morayfield. As you could read in my last blog post, I was really nervous about going to the mechanic workshop and having the guy who serviced my car tell me that there was a lot wrong with it. As always, I was prepared for the absolute worst-case scenario and I spent a lot of time tormenting myself over it. Thinking about problems before they even happen is such a bad idea, and like driving, it’s something that I’m working on. I have a lot to work on, clearly, but that’s okay.

But anyway, you’re probably wondering what actually went well at the mechanic. Well, he said he did several thorough vehicle inspections and didn’t actually see anything wrong with my car. He said that he didn’t have to do a tyre replacement or repair, and that there was nothing for me to worry about. I want to say that I couldn’t believe it, but I’m not overly surprised that I imagined that something was wrong when nothing actually was. Wouldn’t be the first time and probably won’t be the last.

Anyway, it’s awesome that my car is actually okay! And what’s even better is that I managed to drive to and from the workshop myself, and everything went well. If you remember in my first post, I said that my mum had to drive the last time I went to the mechanic. Well, I drove this time so here’s to personal growth and making progress slowly but surely.

Love always,

Luna xoxo
